Snooker Shootout
A timed, single-frame snooker format with a shot clock — built for fast, broadcast-friendly shootout competitions.
- New "Shootout" match type when creating a match (any club that runs snooker). It's standard snooker scoring, played as a single timed frame.
- Configurable clock — set the match length and a two-phase shot clock. Defaults to the World Shootout format: 10 minutes, with a 15-second shot clock for the first 5 minutes then 10 seconds for the rest.
- Shot clock that runs itself — it resets automatically after every pot and every player switch, and speeds up for the final phase.
- Countdown beeps and an expiry buzzer on the broadcast overlay and table view — the clock flashes red and sounds when it runs out, so the ref can call the foul.
- Simplified ref scorer — balls, fouls and a big Switch player button, plus Start / Pause match and Reset shot clock. No stats, safety or break tracking to slow the ref down.
- On-screen match timer + shot-clock ring on the overlay and the big-screen table view.
Tip: the buzzer is a cue, not an automatic foul — when it sounds, tap the foul value to award the points. Sound plays on the overlay / table view (OBS captures it); a normal browser tab just needs one click to unmute it.
